For decades, Rachel Feinstein has blurred the lines of how we interact with art through her paintings, sculptures, and performances. She seeks to invite the audience beyond the finished product and see glimpses of the artist’s process. Her exhibitions have a theatrical experience to them and are beautiful displays of the many sides of an artist who’s been a model, a filmmaker, a performer, and a researcher. At SCAD deFINE ART 2023, Feinstein unveiled her exhibition “Façade” at the SCAD Museum of Art. This awe-inspiring exhibit features panoramas, wall reliefs, and large-scale sculptures from across her decades-long career.
