The South African government provides loans and bursaries to students through this scheme. It’s administered by the Department of Higher Education and Training, which offers financial aid to disadvantaged students for tuition, accommodation, and personal care expenses. The NSFAS login portal is a way to access this treasure. The applicants must be citizens of South Africa with household incomes below R350,000 or disabled individuals earning less than R600,000 annually. They must repay the funds, subject to the NSFAS repayment policy, upon getting employment or starting their businesses.
