Send us a text"God answers all prayers" No, He doesn't. The first prayer He didn't answer was for the episode to be shorter. The second was Elijah's prayer to die, and just like Elijah, He will never answer that prayer for you either. Elijah hit rock bottom and prayed to die. He wasn't the first and he won't be the last. That doesn't mean that we can't take heavy lessons from his story to know how God deals with struggles that feel bigger than us. This is the longest episode yet and for good reason. In honour of World Mental Health Day, we are looking at the struggle faced with declining mental health and looking into how we can look at biblical examples for comfort, support and guidance. Faith and mental health can coexist. I know because I have been there.
