It has been a while since we have done an artist album and given it a CD release as well – but French artist Autist has with his four EPs surely left a mark so deep we think this will be well worth it. With his musical take on the issue of neurodiversity he treats a trade of his own, between hypnotic techno, hardcore upfrontness and insdustrial repetition. From the misleading calm of the opener “Mystere” this leads in a straight line to the mayhem and confusion of “Borderline”, strangely catchy in its uniqueness. One man’s reality is another’s surreal nightmare, but where do you stand?
