Michael and Richard convene for a recording outside the studio. The news is light post E3, but there is plenty to discuss. Some new titles are coming to the Game Pass service for Xbox and PC, and Tifa's new Final Fantasy VII character model is getting discussed for the wrong reasons. The latest rumours on Xbox Scarlett point to a one SKU console, Dragon Quest's "GO" game is announced for Japan and Dr. Mario World gets a release date.

In Games Played, Richard breaks out the 3DS for Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Luigi's Mansion. He gives the 240p test suite a go using the Dreamcast to attempt to correct a CRT's geometry. He and Russell also run a Legendary campaign chapter in Halo: Master Chief Collection. Michael has completed Trails of Cold Steel 2, and tried out some newly backwards compatible Xbox One games like Indiana Jones and The Emperor's tomb, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and Armed and Dangerous. He gives a small preview of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
