Michael joins this week from the great beyond... not really it's just a Skype call. We're glad he's back because there's lots to discuss. Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo have revealed the games coming to their paid online services for the month of May, and the VR updates for Zelda and Mario have sped up load times. The Sonic the Hedgehog movie has its first trailer, Jim Carrey, human teeth and all. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has a release date, alongside a new art style, Valve's new VR has been unveiled, and Epic Games acquires the studio behind Rocket League.

In Games Played, Michael explores the DLC of Assassin's Creed Odyssey, takes Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen on the go on Switch, and early impressions of Generation Zero. Cesar continues the Trails in the Sky, and gets stuck in loading hell in Days Gone for PS4. Richard stays on the GameBoy kick with a ROM hack of Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins, and the intro to The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. He also celebrates May the Fourth with Star Wars: Battlefront (2005) on PC.
