This week is Apex Legends-centric. The game was announced this past Monday, and we pick our respective titans and fall into the latest and greatest battle royale. In other news, Activision/Blizzard employees are bracing for layoffs, former Telltale employees open a local area studio, Nintendo Switch gets a new consumer friendly software development kit for devs to implement, and an Inside Xbox show yields some great upcoming features coming from Microsoft.

In Games Played, Richard joins the Year of Tales with Vesperia on Switch, and raids some tombs in 2013's Tomb Raider reboot courtesy of a recent Steam sale. He and Cesar share their adventures in Apex Legends and also play a few rounds with friends of the show in Fortnite. Cesar stays on his visual novel kick with Song of Memories, and describes the family drama contained within. Michael has wrapped up Kingdom Hearts 3, platforms like it's 2003 in Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, and gives his impressions on the recently closed Tom Clancy's The Division 2 Beta.
