While being imprisoned in a polar bear cage, Sawyer ruminates on a particular stay in jail where he learned some very important information about his family. In his current predicament though, is he going to be able to survive the Other's crazy experiments and mind games? Jack meanwhile, is called to use his skills to try to save a life and uncovers some interesting intel in the process. Also, Kate finally gets to do something, and Desmond conducts an experiment.
