Episode Synopsis
This episode provides some important information from BDO Canada when it comes to dealing with your finances. Donna Mihalcheon joins me to talk about a recent study that outlines a number of surprising facts about how Canadians are spending their money. Instagram and Facebook have made some changes to what young teenagers can see. Last month, they both put in place a policy that will block, and in some instances remove, content that promotes weight loss or cosmetic procedures to users under 18 years old. I talk with Dr. Julia Wong of the BC Children's Hospital about why this is an important step for these platforms to make, but it doesn't mean parents and guardians should stop concerning themselves with body issues. And to end off the program I chat with Susie Rieder about Electric Vehicle charging and some of the misconceptions that exist for people when it comes to the costs of charging and how readily available charging infrastructure is.
