Episode Synopsis
In today's episode I talk about Homelessness Action Week. First I talk with a city of Kamloops rep who talks about Project Connect and the importance of promoting services to those less fortunate in our community. I follow that up by speaking with the Executive Director of A Way Home Kamloops and the Past President of the Aurora Rotary Club of Kamloops as they get set for the annual Camp Out to End Youth Homelessness on December 13th. Then I chat with local representative of the Association of Legal Aid Lawyers Graham Kay and Access to Legal Services Committee member Jeff Campbell about a new 2.5 year deal for legal aid lawyers in the province. And to end things off I am joined by the President of the BC Teachers Federation Terri Mooring as school is now in week 7 and teachers in the province remain without a contract.
