This week, we open up the narrative in Luke 6 with a story of Jesus' controversial healing (at least in His time) of a man with a withered hand.In this story, Jesus not only sets an example but emphasizes the truth that compassion and grace are always the hallmarks of Godliness. We must always choose to be kind, even in the face of critics and those that would accuse our motives or heart in doing so.
