Matthew 22:37-40, And He said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”---------- We begin a new sermon series for the month of September this Sunday. This series will focus on these important truths: That we have been chosen by a Great God with a Great Commandment to follow a Great Commission. We are called to this purpose is to accomplish his Great Plan to be His church. Through the teachings of Matthew 22:37-40 and Matthew 28:19-20, we see that plan revealed for us and through this sermon series, we will study those Scriptures to help us to recognize how we should function as Christians individually and as the church together in unity.---------- This first week, our theme and message will be centered on worship, celebrating God’s presence in our lives and our church. We come together as a family each week to praise and glorify Him, but in truth, worship is not a weekly event, but a mindset that sees the opportunity to magnify God in all circumstances and through every thing that we might do.
