Listen "013: Therapy for Pastors"
Episode Synopsis
Today's episode is all about getting into the minds of pastors. Pastors are extremely under-represented as far as therapy clients go. This is troubling considering the amount of stress pastors experience. Joining me today is Dr. Ben Shin. He is an associate professor at Talbot School of Theology, teaching in both the masters and doctoral programs. He is the teaching pastor at New Life Vision church, and a dear friend. Some of the questions I ask him: What percentage of pastors do you think are open to receiving therapy? How can we get this percentage to increase? What qualities do you think they seek in a therapist? Hope you enjoy the episode, and please share with a friend! By the way, have you tried Simple Practice yet? Simple Practice is an Electronic Health Record tool that will help SIMPLIFY your practice so that you can invest more of your energy and time into client time, and ME-time!
