This program will provide an understanding and appreciation of community forests. It will provide learners with the tools to understand the challenges these trees face and the tools to help them thrive. The course will provide training on tree identification, anatomy, site requirements such as soil, water, and climate. It will also provide training on planting, care, and maintenance such as pruning, irrigation, and common problems.
