James is going to say the words, "Come now..." and teach two profound lessons to his Christian audience about how to endure the persecution and mistreatment that they were facing during this period of time in their faith. He will close with the coming of the Lord Jesus being imminent. For the Christian, the Lord's return is a day of rejoicing as He will punish the enemies of the cross and take His brethren home.
