There are several different ways to baptise. At NCF our tradition is to totally immerse someone.We should baptise and this is clear in the Scripture. How it is done is not so clear in the Bible. Why we do it is more important than how we do it.It is an initiation as well as a celebration. Adults can understand and respond to the Gospel. Baptism symbolises death and newness of life. We should be baptised to show that our sins are buried and we have new life.We examine 1 Corinthians 10:1-4, Acts 2:34-41, Romans 6:3-5 and Colossians 2:9-12.
