This is a 4 part podcast series by National Museums NI, hosted by Curator of Art, Anna Liesching, which looks at exhibitions held in the Ulster Museum through the prism of the art of printmaking.
In this episode, Anna speaks with print artist Anushiya Sundaralingam about her life and practice, as well as the annual Royal Ulster Academy show, a highlight on the Belfast art calendar celebrating its 139th year and which has been held in the Ulster Museum in recent decades, showcasing and selling work from local artists across many mediums. Anushiya tells us about the inspiration behind her artwork, her time at Belfast Print Workshop - the first student of the collective – and the many hats that artists wear.
