In this week’s episode, we talk to Vinny Mesolella, Associate Director, HCP and Digital Marketing for Mayne Pharma, based in North Carolina.We chat to Vinny about his fascinating journey from graduating in journalism and being interested in pursuing a career in creative writing to leaving journalism after an internship at The Boston Global and joining a small independent advertising agency, working on fmcg accounts like Subway. Vin them moved to NYC to another independent agency, working on luxury brands like Diesel and Tag Heuer - during the early days of the digital and social revolution. From here, Vin joined the IPG network and eventually ended up working with big pharma clients including Bayer, Novartis and Gilead. Following the pandemic, Vinny moved back to North Carolina and subsequently joined the female health division of Mayne Pharma.
