This Halloween episode is called The Poltergeist of Byron Street and it’s a lesser talked about historic haunting.
This case happened in the Cheshire town of Runcorn, 
in the early 1950’s and it had many witnesses, lots of interventions by different groups and the activity was also witnessed at other addresses.  The activity was to last for around 12 weeks.
All the information about this case has come from reports that the local newspapers published, with some of the reporters, who remained unnamed, experiencing some of the poltergeist activities and events and many interviews with those who were to experience these highly unusual events…….
