Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Romans 8:6 which says "The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace."" This verse is saying that when we are governed by flesh (the what we see here and now) vs. the spirit we are trapped in a cycle of death. We aren’t literally dying, but a life that can’t produce good fruit isn’t a life I want to live. So how do we fix that? We fix our minds. The spirit says we are wonderfully made. The spirit says we are protected. The spirit promises to give us strength, blessing, abundance. We have to start thinking that way. When we think it, we say it. When we say it, we create it.
