My 4 critical questions. How am I racialized in my school placement? How does that impact my identity/actions/assumptions? What choices am I making that are inequitable for my students and families? Am I making room for my emerging bilingual students to take linguistic risks? Or conversely, how am I unintentionally silencing them? Which students/ families am I “getting along with easily”? Why? How am I holding different students to different sets of expectations?
