My Bluebell Doll is about Ririko a member of the J-pop girl group Bluebell Girls dealing with a situation where a fan is trying to hurt her in some way to get her out of the group. The stalker uses letters and texts until it gets to the point that the stalker needs to use brute force. Starring Alice Kaseki, Imogen Harlow and Alexander Kim the drama deals with the extreme things celebrities go through which includes stalking and even jealousy from other people who maybe in your close circle. This is shown as normal in any countries music industry and though stuff have been in place for these situations, many crimes have occurred because of this parasocial relationships. This project I feel like is a hate letter to fan culture specifically stalking your favourite celebrities but still being able to stay anonymous, with the rise of parasocial relationships due to social media being so accessible many fans take the relationships with their artists the wrong way and it becomes detrimental.
