In memory of our dear friend Marc Bartissol.

Marc was not only a radiant part of the local music scene, he was also a member of the MUTEK team, working for number of years translating texts and artist biographies so integral to the festivalʼs voice and identity. A talented musician and performer, he was also an empathic confidante to those closest to him and a funny, kind and delicate soul in every interaction with others.

Unreleased before, this mix was recorded live at MUTEK Montreal in 2016, 3 years before his sudden passing in august 2019.

Rest in Power Marc.

Presented as part of STREAM ON, a project by MUTEK, with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts.

En mémoire de notre cher ami Marc Bartissol.

Marc n’était pas seulement une présence lumineuse sur la scène musicale locale, il était également un membre de l'équipe MUTEK, travaillant pendant de nombreuses années à traduire les textes et les biographies d'artistes si essentiels à la voix et à l'identité du festival. Musicien et interprète talentueux, il était aussi un confident empathique pour ses proches, une âme bienveillante, gentille et délicate.

Inédit auparavant, ce mix a été enregistré en live à MUTEK Montréal en 2016, trois ans avant son départ soudain en août 2019.

Repose en force, Marc.
