We can compare the characters in the parable of the prodigal son found in Luke 15 to us, God being "the father" and us being "the son". This being said, just like the father in the parable, God is waiting for us, and is willing to forgive us no matter what we've done. God wants to have a relationship with all of us, He is literally waiting for us to talk to Him (as He has been talking to us, because He is always talking to us). "Taste and see that the Lord is good", just take a couple of minutes to talk to God, and see how things will change in your life for the good.
