The eighth commandment, You shall not steal, extends far beyond taking physical possessions; it calls us to recognize that all we have is ultimately Gods and to live as faithful stewards who share generously and live honestly. As sinners who have fallen short by robbing both our neighbors and God, we find mercy and hope in Christ, who restores us and calls us to belong wholly to Him in gratitude and obedience.
