In this edition I re-introduce Millie to Rowdy Bec Rawlings for her first ever interview.Bec is an Australian mixed martial artist and bare knuckle boxing champion who just released a movie called 'Fight to Live' in cinemas now. A compelling movie not just about her rise to fame in the fighting world, but also her fight to escape domestic violence. An important film highlighting it can happen to anyone, including an elite athlete trained to win in the ring.I first met Bec as a little girl at her fathers wedding in Launceston. I wish I remembered, but it was over 20 years ago. We only put the jigsaw together after re meeting on her movie promo tour. Hilariously it must be true that anyone who has ever lived in Tasmania will find a friendship link somewhere somehow. Watching the movie with Millie I knew Bec would be a perfect guest for our mentoring journey.Mentors are not perfect people with perfectly lived lives.
