Once when Pablo Picasso was an old man ,
he was sitting in a cafe somewhere in Spain ,
doodling on a used napkin .
He was nonchalant about the whole thing ,
drawing whatever amused him in that movement - kind of the same way teenage boy draw penises on bathroom stalls ,
except this was Picasso to his bathroom stall penises were more like impressionist awesomeness laced on top of faint coffee stains
Anyway ,some women were sitting near him
Was looking an in awe .
After a few moment Picasso finished his coffee and crumpled up the napkin to throw away as he left

The women Stoped him , wait ," she said ," can I have the napkin you were just drawing on ?
I"ll pay you for it .

Picasso replied sure , 20 thousand dollar

The women head joalted back as he had just flung a brick at her

What, it take like 2 minutes to draw

No mam Picasso replied it took over 60 year to drew this

Improvement at anything is based on thousands off tiny failure .
and the magnitude of your success is based on how many time you have failed at something
If someone is better than you at something ,
than it's likely that she has failed at it more than you


If someone is worse than you ,
it likely because she hasn't been through all the painful learning experience you have

If you think of a young child trying to learn to walk . Than child will fall down and hurt himself hundred of times but at no point does that child ever stop and think oh I guss walking just isn't for me .
I am not good at it
