Listen "Hunger"
Episode Synopsis
When you're hungry, it's harder to make decisions. Judges assign longer sentences before lunch than they do after lunch. Humans build civilization to stabilize life, we try to minimize hungers and biological impulses. We try to make better decisions to have more resources, and stabilize our lives. But that's not what we have in America. We have decided on chaotic rules based on unregulated capitalism and mystical beliefs. We select for social patterns that isolate people and encourage greed and envy. We'll all get to see how that plays out starting Jan. 20th of next year.
