This Advent season, Mosaic is representing the past and the future through two cities: The city of Bethlehem, where Christ was born, and our city, Denver. In one we see the promised Messiah—the Messiah Israel anticipated. On the other, we await his return and consider how his return affects our everyday lives as we live between the two arrivals.
It's a span of history that feels so long to our earthly minds, but that Jesus said would be quick and his return imminent. This time of waiting and preparation will barely be remembered, and that's worth celebrating. Let's prepare for the coming king!!
