Voters go to the polls statewide on March 29 to decide some very important issues, and one of the big items on the ballot here in Southwest Louisiana is the race for Lake Charles mayor.
Incumbent Mayor Nic Hunter is running for reelection against challengers Wilford Carter II, Marshall Simien Jr., James Steward and Khalid Taha.
KPLC's Cynthia Arceneaux sat down with all five candidates vying for the top job in the city.
