Listen "14. Implicit Bias"
Episode Synopsis
Protests are happening around the world. People are rightfully angry. Black people need support and to be amplified. Action needs to be taken to change policies, change systems, and hold people accountable. But action needs to be taken be all of us daily. We need to learn. We need to grow. We need to do better. An implicit bias is your unconscious attitude or stereotype towards something and we all have them. They come from your past. From your experiences. From what you consume. But your implicit biases also drive implicit actions that don't always align with the beliefs you want to have. In this week's episode, I talk about how to become more aware of your implicit beliefs and why I think is important now more than ever.
