Born in the Soviet Ukraine, Michael Priv arrived to the USA in 1979 and went on to graduate the University of Pittsburgh to become a Construction Engineer. Intrigued by Scientology, Michael joined the Church and went on staff as a Dianetics Auditor in 1987, moving up the organization to rank at  the highest monastic order “The Sea Organization” where he  spent eighteen years managing translations for the Church, until he walked off his  post in protest to the policies and corruption at the top of the Scientology organization. He not only had a harrowing escape  from the KGB while in Russia - but was latered tried for his supposed crime  by the  Church, where he spent a year in the Sea Org prison in LA until his dramatic escape in 2005.His books include: Friends of Fred. followed by his first Sci-Fi novel, The Fifth Battalion, the his auto-biography, The Golden Fleece, along with some other short stories, Michael published The Roto-Rooter. and most Recently he  released a psychic healing guidebook, You Are Psychic, The Healer’s Handbook,his attempt he says  to train anyone into being psychic. He also  completed the screenplay for The Fifth Battalion and working on the sequel, The Baltizor Conspiracy.
