Today we're going to be talking about a topic that is near and dear to my heart, a concept that I call emotional capitalism. I'm going to share some of my personal stories. We're going to talk about why we need new metaphors for personal growth and why the air mask analogy we often hear in the self-help world is an inadequate way to think about how we live. We'll talk about the importance of interdependence, and I'll share some examples of how I try to live interdependently in the world.
