In this episode of Mission CTRL Ramon and our PD Flight crew sat down with Bridgeport Mayoral candidate Lamond Daniels to discuss his vision for what Bridgeport can be.  Daniels moved to Bridgeport 30 years ago when he was in high school. Inspired by his grandmother’s commitment to helping the less fortunate,  he decided to pursue a career in social work. Daniels cut his political teeth working as a policy associate with Annie E. Casey Foundation in Bridgeport and the opportunity allowed him to traverse the nation learning about the systems and policies that impact children and families.
While Daniels is not a career politician, he’s not new to politics either, he was the director of neighborhood initiatives during the Finch administration and currently serves as Chief of Community Services in Norwalk, CT.  Before launching into Daniels’ vision for Bridgeport, the PD flight crew dives into billionaire expeditions, the Apple Vision Pro, Bridgeport’s logo rebrand and get this: Kevin goes on record praising Apple’s Hardware!
