Listen "Different is Good"
Episode Synopsis
Meet the hosts: I’m the middle child of an extremely religious family. I’ve always been the “Black Sheep”, one who just didn’t fit in. I grew up as a star athlete in school, however, a forgotten member of a very busy ministry family. As I became a successful adult (married, 3 sons, business owner, minister, advocate), I still felt like an invisible man in a crowded room. I’ve always been a risk taker, visionary and an out of the box thinker, which has made the more conservative people around me uncomfortable. I’m a Man of Faith and live by the belief, if God says, I believe it! And Lauren: I've always felt different, not in a bad way, but still different. I fit in a lot of places, but not all the way. I'm awkward and not a huge small talk fan. So I can talk, but i want to talk about the deep stuff. I've always thought very differently, but i wasn't sure how to harness those thoughts. There are a lot of qualities about me that make me so quirky. Some of them make others real uncomfortable.
