Good times this weekend working some kinks out of Thuja by resuscitating beats from this loop - something I milked like crazy in my piece Anxious. I listened to so many variations I made with this one loop and they still suck me in. The next three or four posts are variations I came up with over the weekend. After reworking some very old (25 years old) lisp code, I finally got the remixing / juggling to feel right, to feel in the pocket. This is kind of a an "it's ALIVE!!!!" moment. Link to the post.
