Leigh is Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and the Director of the Melbourne Brain Centre Imaging Unit in the Department of Radiology.  Leigh studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science as an undergraduate and did a PhD in statistical signal processing.
