They say that there is nothing new under the sun. Well then can someone show me the way!!!! We grow up in this world looking for examples of what to be, examples of what could be, and examples of what not to be. We tend to thrive in relationships that help guide us in our life journey. This special relationship that I'm referring to is mentorship. Some of us have them. Some of us aren't fortunate enough to have them. In the end, this special relationship is transformative in that mentorships can come through the absence of mentors, the reading about these mentors, and even the mentors that get overlooked in our lives.
