There is stigma in talking about it and abuse is a rampant silent killer of mental health and complete body health. Hence bringing this to the forefront is critical now more than ever before.
Oxford dictionary states that abuse: the use of something in a way that is wrong or harmful. 
Elder abuse or Geriatric abuse or Abuse of the Aged is simply abusing as in above in any way our elderly, aged or older adults aka seniors , now this age category could be anything, it is a mindset as we know, so from 65 and above… Now elder abuse is also a term for abuse at any stage of life in an elderly’s lifespan.
