"It was built by the French resident D. Pierre Durandeau (1844-1927), in low and flooded terrain, -a total of 40 hectares- where he planted thousands of eucalyptus trees, and then he had a large lake dug where they housed numerous aquatic birds and I trace beautiful avenues. "Villa Augustine", which was its first name, was sold to the capital city in 1929, by his son, José P. Pierre Durandeau (1844-1927), en terrenos bajos y anegadizos, -un total de 40 hectáreas- donde planto millares de eucaliptos, y luego hizo cavar un amplio lago donde albergaban numerosas aves acuáticas y trazo hermosas avenidas. "Villa Augustine" que tal era su primer nombre, fue vendido al municipio capitalino en 1929, por su hijo, José P.
