The opening track to this week's featured album (P.O.P.) is 'Rejoice (O Come Emmanuel).' This would have to be in my top ten songs to play, perform and or worship with in a live setting. 

One of the true tenets of my top ten, is whether the song and or arrangement holds up on a solo acoustic guitar rendering, and then also with the full band, and this song does it sweetly, it swings either way. I love it!

When it came time to arrange the play order there was never a doubt lyrically or musically that this song should open up the album. It's a table setter, it provides the perfect mood in both lyrical tone, and musical harmony for the rest of the project.

It's not a banger, it's a bridled invitation to groove along through this season of anticipation.

Take a break from the rush, take a divine breath, and listen...
