Opportunity cost is easy to understand but difficult to implement because we undervalue the unknown of what we are giving up for what we have. If we think we have a good opportunity in front of us, the time we are spending on that opportunity could be used elsewhere on a better opportunity, but we undervalue the unknown of the other opportunities.
