James Joyce's Ulysses evokes fear in the hearts of many. Myself included. However, as I take my second trip through Dublin with Stephen and Leopold, I am called to reflect on my own life. Meditations on Ulysses is a cumulative, reflective diary of my coursework that applies themes and plot to my own life to explore how the mysteries of time culminate in everyday epiphanies. Starting with Chapter 9, I dive into comparing Ulysses with one of my favorite musicals and art pieces.
