Pollen. Sounds presents: PLNS001: Gloom 1.0, a 5 track EP by Max Cue. Though still relying heavily on the style we came to know from Max Cue, Gloom also borrows from classical influences to create contemplative and sorrowful intro's and bridges that lead to nervous, anxious and repetitive sequencer driven parts. Gloom feels reminiscent of falling into despair, of entering dark, murky and overgrown territory. Gloom is still easily recognized as Max Cue, though it also manages to sidetrack its listeners. A gloomy welcome to what might be a harbinger for more.
