This is the second in a two part series called Failed Train Recordings.  There are some very active railroad tracks near Prarie Du Chien, Wisconsin which I wanted to record a train going by.  I set up next to the tracks at Wyalusing Beach and waited for a train.  There was one that could be heard to the south but it seemed to be stopped so all I got was the distant train horn and some other sounds of the area.  After waiting for about an hour we drove south and found the train moving north a few miles down the line.  Bad timing!   Recording Date: 9/28/2023 Recording Location: 42.9471622538916, -91.14201337173122
