Whistleblowers of America  WoA is a nonprofit organization assisting whistleblowers who have suffered retaliation after having identified harm to individuals or the public.Jacqueline Garrick joins us this evening to discuss several issues affecting whistleblowers today. Jacqueline heads up Whistleblowers of America, a premier group that tracks not only legislation, but also the retaliation against whistleblowers who expose fraud, waste and abuse in federal agencies. She and her organization continuously work to not only change the laws, but to enforce those already in place.  WoA also provides peer support for those facing retaliation which can take the form of trauma based attacks.  This can become so severe it is likened to PTSD suffered by combat veterans.We will be discussing many aspects of whistleblowing and the cost to the individual who stands up and reports the wrongdoing. Please join us and do call in if you have any questions or comments for our guest. 917-388-4520 hit number #1 to be put in the cue.
