Send us a textA couple of months ago - some issues I was experiencing caused me to do a 180 with my diet and exercise routine. A better way to explain it would be - I realized if I didn't start on my way to being healthy, I might not be around.We've all heard the saying, "Garbage In, Garbage Out," for our diets. But we may not have heard the saying: "If You're Not Moving, You're Dying," for our bodies. When you're lethargic and sedimentary - your body loses. This is just a small list of the things that can occur when you choose to stop moving:Inflammation.Increased chances of high cholesterol and/or blood pressure, diabetes, certain cancers, poor blood circulation, strokes, and heart attacks. Lower metabolism.You'll experience fewer calories burnt. Couple this with a poor diet, and weight gain - even obesity - is likely to follow.Loss of endurance and strength.Weak Bones.Compromised immune system.And much more!Try to implement a few or all of these simple steps:Try to stand and stretch at least once every hour.Work exercise into your daily routine.Limit the amount of sitting you do.Don't take the easy way out. Take stairs as opposed to elevators. Park further away as opposed to looking for the closest spot. Pay attention to what you're putting into your body. Eat for fuel - not fun.The idea of retiring sounds fun to someone who dislikes their job. But, when you think about how many people take a turn for the worst after retiring - it doesn't seem as appealing. Instead - find something you love to do and keep moving! Have a DYNAMITE 🧨 day!
