The purpose of this lesson is to motivate us make every effort to enter into the rest God has provided. The lesson examines six specific ways that we can think about the promise of entering the rest God has offered us. God rested from his labors in the creation. The Law of Moses established the Sabbath day of rest for the Jewish faithful.  Today, in the Christian Age, the promise stands sure that our rest is waiting for us in the next life.
