Judges 6:25-31
There comes a time when we are catapulted into a role we didn't petition or train for. In either case, how do we navigate that role. Gideon has now been called to his purpose to be the savior of Israel. However he had to prove himself in the way of going against what was the norm for his people. 
Are you willing to stand up and go against the grain for what is right?
This Might Man of Valor committed an act of 'treason' against his people and their worship of Baal and Asheroth. But was right in the eyes of God in that we should not have any other gods above him.
In doing anything worthy of God's love, not everyone needs to be privy. Matter of fact, it will have to be done at a time less convenient, but it will save your life.
