In this weeks episode you'll meet LaToya Rodney, known by her stage name ‘LaToya Jane’, a Canadian singer, rapper, songwriter, motivational speaker, actress, professional dancer, an Evangelist for Christ and the proud Mama of 2 Kings. We discussed her incredible journey from growing up in the rough Toronto neighbourhood of Jane & Finch engulfed in negativity to overcoming adversity including 18-months of incarceration. It was then that LaToya found her true self and the purpose God placed on her life. Latoya is very passionate about allowing God to use her story to motivate, educate, inspire and deter young people from the gang life she once knew.

After a brief hiatus from the music scene, LaToya is back, more determined than ever. Currently working on an eagerly anticipated EP; her latest creations mirror her life's struggles, the pain she endured, the betrayals she faced and the sacrifices she made. Through it all, her unwavering faith in God shines, serving as a reminder that through Christ you can do all things because he gives you the strength.
